After a longtime using the computer, comes the desire to want to defrag one of the hard disk. Open Windows Explorer. First of all, open the folder “C: \ Windows \ Inf”. Then locate the file named “Dfrg.inf”: After file found, right-click the file and select the option “Install”. Without restart, defrag function will be active again.
The second way is to use a command. Just click the menu “Start I Run”. Next, type the command “rundll32.exe setupapi, Install Hinf Section Default install 132% win dir% \ inf \ dfrg.inf” (without the quotes). Finally, click “OK”. This in two ways, you can use the defrag function contained in the window “properties”.
